Mediterranean cypress essential oil
Botanical name : Cupressus sempervirens
Cultivation: Conventional (100% pure, 100% natural)

Main properties : anti-inflammatory, anti-cough, mucolytic, antispasmodic, vasoconstrictor, antiperspirant, anti-infectious, emmenagogue.
Indications:
Angioma: Cypress + Helichrysum + Geranium. 5 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Apply 2 drops of this blend to the concerned areas morning, noon and evening for 1 week.
Cellulite: 0.5 ml of Cypress + 0.2 ml of Cinnamon + 0.5 ml of Cedar + 100 ml of apricot kernel or jojoba or macadamia vegetable oil. Massage morning and evening. See Geranium and White birch for other recipes.
Enuresis: 5 drops of Cypress + 2 drops of Sweet marjoram. To dilute in a teaspoon of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet.
Loss of voice: 5 ml of Cypress + 5 ml of Lavender essential oil. To mix in a bottle. Absorb 2 drops of of this blend on a spoon of honey, twice a day.
Lumps: 5 ml of Cypress + 5 ml d'Helichrysum + 15 ml (= 1 large spoon) of millepertuis vegetable oil. Apply locally up to 5 times a day. Cypress can be replaced by Lavender essential oil.
Hemorrhoids: 1 ml of Cypress + 0.5 ml of Cistus + 0.2 ml of Patchouli + 2 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Massage locally up to 3 times a day.
Heavy legs: Cypress + Cedar + Rosemary cineol. 1 ml of each to dilute in 100 ml of jojoba, macadamia or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Massage the legs from bottom to top with this preparation.
Prostatite: Cypress + Clove essential oil + Tea tree essential oil. 5 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Massage the lower abdomen and the back up to 2 times a day using 4 or 5 drops of this blend.
Overweight: Cypress + Juniper + Geranium essential oil + Cedar + Sage. 3 to 4 drops of each, to mix in a solvent and pour in the bath water. End your bath with a cold shower.
Cough: 5 ml of Cypress + 5 ml of Thyme essential oil. To mix in a bottle. Absob 2 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey once a day for children, up to 3 times a day for adults.
Hacking cough & tracheitis: 1 ml of Cypress + 1 ml of Lavender essential oil + 1 ml of Ravensara + 60 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus, the chest and the back morning, noon and evening for 1 week.
Perspiration: For hands and/or feet, 1ml of Cypress + 1 ml of Sage + 10 drops of Peppermint essential oil + 50 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Massage the concerned areas in the morning and evening.
Varicose veins: 1.5 ml of Cypress + 1.5 ml of Lavandin + 1.5 ml of Rosemary (1.8 cineol) + 100 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Massage in the morning and evening. Lavandin can be replaced by Peppermint essential oil.
Contraindications: Do not use pure essential oil on the skin (causes inflammation). Do not use in case of mastosis and hormone-dependant cancer. Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
