Main properties: antiseptic (respiratory and genital tracts), expectorant, anti-cough, anticatarrhal, hepatocytary stimulant, prostatic decongestant, sleep facilitator, endocrinal stimulant (thyroid, ovaries), skin tonifier, astringent (acne), anti-wrinkles, devitalised, irritated and inflammated skin soothing.

Indications:

Asthma: 5 ml of Myrtle essential oil + 10 ml of Tarragon + 5 ml of Wintergreen essential oil + 5 ml of Mandarin. To mix in a bottle. Massage the solar plexus and the back using 4 to 5 drops of this blend several times a day if necessary.

Bronchitis (baby): Myrtle essential oil + Ravensara essential oil + Rosewood + Palmarosa essential oil + Eucalyptus radiata. 5 ml of each to dilute in 20 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the plexus and the back using a few drops of this blend, 3 times a day.

Immune weakness: Myrtle essential oil + Oregano essential oil + Cajeput. 2 ml of each to dilute in 20 ml of macadamia or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Apply a few drops of this blend on the solar plexus 1 time a day for 3 to 4 weeks.

Flu: Myrtle essential oil + Grapefruit essential oil + Eucalyptus globulus + Eucalyptus radiata essential oil + Pine. Make a mix using 5 ml of each. Diffuse at regular intervals into the air of the living room. Other possible mix: Myrtle essential oil + Saro essential oil + Eucalyptus radiata essential oil + Pine needle essential oil + Lemon.

Flu: Myrtle (2 ml) + Saro (5 ml) + Eucalyptus radiata (2 ml) + Rosemary (1 ml) + Macadamia vegetable oil (5 ml)
- young child: apply 6 drops of this blend on the chest and the back 5 times a day for 3 to 5 days
- adult: apply 15 drops of this blend on the chest and the back 4 to 6 times a day for 3 to 5 days

Hypothyroidism: Myrtle essential oil + Clove. 2 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Take 2 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey or small piece of bread, 3 times a day before meals.

Insomnia: Myrtle essential oil + Geranium. 5 ml of each to dilute in 20 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet using a few drops of this blend every day at bedtime.

Otitis (adults only): Myrtle (1 ml) + Ravensara (3 ml) + Thyme (3 ml). To mix in a bottle. Take 1 drop of this blend 5 times a day for 1 week.

Prostatitis: Myrtle essential oil + Cypress + Pine. 1 drop of each to take on a spoon of honey 2 times a day (morning and evening).

Rhinitis (adults only): Myrtle (1 ml) + Ravensara (3 ml) + Thyme (3 ml). To mix in a bottle. Take 1 drop of this blend 5 times a day for 1 week.

Wrinkles: 1 drop of Myrtle in a teaspoon of your day care cream or a little vegetable oil (Argan) for the night.

Sinusitis (adults only): Myrtle (1 ml) + Ravensara (3 ml) + Thyme (3 ml). To mix in a bottle. Take 1 drop of this blend 5 times a day for 1 week.

Cough (hacking, dry, bronchitis): 1 drop of Myrtle essential oil + 1 drop of Cypress with honey, to repeat several times a day if necessary.
