Patchouli essential oil
Botanical name: Pogostemon Cablin
Cultivation: Conventional (100% pure, 100% natural)
Country of origin: Indonesia
Main properties: decongestant, digestive, anti-inflammatory, phlebotonic, regenerating, anti-infectious, repellent (insects).
Indications:
Acne: 1.5 ml of Patchouli + 2.5 ml of Lavender essential oil + 100 drops of Tea tree + 100 ml of macadamia or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Apply directly to the pimples. Patchouli can be replaced by Laurel. See Vetiver for another recipe.
Cracked skin: 2.5 ml of Patchouli to dilute in 100 ml of Chilean roship vegetable oil. Apply to the concerned areas. See Helichrysum for another recipe.
Hemorrhoids: 0.2 ml of Patchouli + 1 ml of Cypress + 0.5 ml of Cistus + 2 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Massage locally up to 3 times a day.
Contraindications: This EO is potentially irritating. Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
