Botanical name: Rosa Damascena
Cultivation: Conventional (100% pure, 100% natural)
Country of origin: Bulgaria
Main properties: anti-wrinkle, tonic, aphrodisiac, cicatrizing, anti-infectious.
Indications:
Weak libido (women): Rose essential oil + Ylang Ylang. 2 ml of each to dilute in 100 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Apply a few drops of this blend on the solar plexus and the soles of the feet 2 times a day for 1 week.
Anti-wrinkle (face): Mix 1 ml of Rose essential oil and 15 ml of Rosewood in 80 ml of wheat germ oil and 20 ml of Millepertuis. Best is to use the Chilean Rosehip vegetable oil (see Huile de soin anti-aging skin care oil). Use morning and evening, for 3 to 6 weeks, 1 to 2 times a year.
Contraindications: Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
Information : The Rose essential oil is one of the most expensive because of the very small quantity of essence a flower can yield. No less than 4 tons of rose petals are necessary to get 1 liter of essential oil.
