Seville orange essential oil
Botanical name: Citrus Aurantium
Cultivation: Conventional (100% pure, 100% natural)
Country of origin: Paraguay
Main properties: soothing, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-infectious.
Indications:
Acne: Seville orange essential oil + Geranium essential oil + Vetiver. 5 ml of each to dilute in 10 ml of rosehip vegetable oil. Apply a few drops of this lotion on the areas to be treated morning and evening (after cleansing the skin). See Laurel for another recipe.
Unrest: Seville orange essential oil + Lavandin + Mandarin. 2 ml of each in 100 ml of jojoba or macadamia vegetable oil. Massage the soles of the feet and the solar plexus.
Arthritis, rheumatism: 1.5 ml of Seville orange essential oil + 1.5 ml of Rosemary essential oil + 100 ml of jojoba or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Massage the sore areas.
Nephretic colic: Seville orange essential oil + Basil + Ledon. 2 ml of each to dilute in 20 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil (double the quantity of vegetable oil if administering to an infant). Massage the abdomen using a few drops of this blend 5 to 6 times a day.
Hiccup: Seville orange essential oil + Tarragon + Basil. 1 drop of each on a small piece of bread (every 10 to 15 minutes). For children, mmake sure to divide these amounts by 3 (by diluting this blend in a little vegetable oil).
Ear (ringing or buzzing): Seville orange essential oil + Helichrysum + Tarragon. 5 ml of each to dilute in 50 ml of jojoba, macadamia or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Massage the area surrounding the ear 2 to 3 times a day for 8 to 10 days.
Greasy skin: 6 drops of Seville orange essential oil + 10 drops of Cistus + 100 ml of jojoba, or macadamia or rosehip vegetable oil.
Menstrual pain: 2 ml of Seville orange essential oil + 2 ml of Tarragon + 8 ml of Mandarin + 50 ml of jojoba or macadamia vegetable oil. Massage the lower abdomen morning, noon and evening until improvement.
Spasmophilia: 2 ml of Seville orange essential oil + 1 ml of Ravensara essential oil + 100 ml of jojoba or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet 3 times a day.
Stress: 5 ml of Seville orange essential oil + 5 ml of Lavender essential oil + 10 ml of Rosemary. To mix in a bottle. Take 1 drop of this blend in the morning and in the evening for 3 weeks.
Stress: Seville orange essential oil + Orange. 6 drops of each to dilute in a solvent before pouring into the bath water.
Troubled sleep: 1 ml of Seville orange essential oil + 1 ml of Geranium essential oil + 2 ml of Lavender essential oil + 100 ml of macadamia or apricot kernel vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet in the evening and at bedtime.
Vomitting: Seville orange essential oil + Lavandin + Ginger + Tarragon. 5 ml of each. Take 1 drop of this blend on a small piece of bread every hour (do not exceed 9 drops per day).
Contraindications: Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
