Botanical name: Origanum Majorana
Cultivation: Conventional (100% pure, 100% natural)
Country of origin: Egypt
Main properties: analgesic, antispasmodic, relaxing, soothing, antidepressant, anti-tobacco, vasodilator.
Indications:
Amenorrhea: 10 ml of Sweet marjoram + 5 ml of Rosemary essential oil + 10 ml of Sage + 5 ml of Clove. Take 2 drops of this blend morning, noon and evening (on a spoon of honey or small piece of bread) 5 days before the menstruation is expected to begin.
Arythmia: 10 ml of Sweet marjoram + 10 ml of Lavender essential oil + 5 ml of Ylang Ylang + 50 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet morning, noon and evening for 1 week.
Heartburn: 6 ml of Sweet marjoram + 3 ml of Lavender essential oil + 3 ml of Peppermint essential oil + 3 ml of Basil + 3 ml of Chamomile + 6 ml of Coriander. Take 1 drop of this blend 2 to 3 times a day for 10 days.
Diarrhea: Sweet marjoram + Basil. 1 drop of each on a spoon of honey to take before meals.
Enuresia: 2 drops of Sweet marjoram + 5 drops of Cypress. To dilute in a teaspoon of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet.
Hypertension: Sweet marjoram + Ylang Ylang. Massage the solar plexus morning and evening.
Insomnia: Sweet marjoram + Orange + Lemon balm + Vervain + Roman or German chamomile. Mix 5 ml of each in a bottle. Take 1 drop of this blend in the evening (at 6 and 9 PM) for 1 week.
Palpitations: Sweet marjoram + Ylang Ylang. 5 ml of each to dilute in 25 ml of jojoba (or macadamia or apricot kernel) vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus up to 5 times a day for 2 weeks
Cold: 5 ml of Sweet marjoram + 5 ml of Ravintsara. To mix in a bottle. Take 2 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey. Alternate Ravintsara with Rosemary and Lemon. 4 times a day for 1 week.
Spasmophilia: Sweet marjoram + Lavender essential oil. 2 drops of each to Massage the solar plexus 2 to 3 times a day.
Contraindications: This essential oil is potentially irritating to sensitive skins. Not to be used by children and pregnant or breast-feeding women. At high doses, this essential oil can induce an epileptic fit.
