Botanical name: Melaleuca alternifolia

Chemotype: Terpinène-4-oliféra, gamma terpinène, alpha terpinène, 1,8-cinéole

Cultivation: Organic, certified by ECOCERT SAS F32600 (100% pure, 100% natural)

Distillated part: Leaves

Country of origin: Australia

Main properties: antibacterial, immunostimulant, anti-parasitic, antifongic, cicatrizing, antiinflammatory, decongestant.

Indications:

Rubbing or massagingAbscess: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Clove essential oil + Lavender essential oil. 1 drop of each, to apply locally (up to 3 times a day).

Rubbing or massagingAcne: 2.5 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 2.5 ml of Lavender essential oil + 1.5 ml of Laurel essential oil + 100 ml of macadamia vegetable oil or apricot kernel oil. Apply directly on pimples. Laurel can be replaced by Patchouli. See Vetiver for another recipe.

ingestionAngina: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Oregano essential oil + Thyme essential oil + Clove. 5 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Absorb 2 drops 3 times a day (on a spoonful of honey or a piece of soft bread) for a week.

Rubbing or massagingCanker sore: 2 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 6 ml de Laurel essential oil + 3 ml of Clove essential oil + 100 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Apply 2 drops of this lotion on the sores up to 5 times a day.

Rubbing or massagingBronchitis: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Eucalyptus radiata + Cinnamon. Rub 2 drops of each on the solar plexus, up to 4 times a day.

Rubbing or massagingCaries: 2 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 5 ml of Summer savory essential oil + 3 ml of Peppermint essential oil + 10 ml of olive oil. Apply 2 drops of this mix on the carie up to 4 times a day.

Rubbing or massagingCradle cap: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Rosewood. 1.5 ml of each to dilute in 20 ml of rosehip vegetable oil.

Rubbing or massagingImpetigo: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Geranium rosat. 1 drop of each to apply directly up to 3 times a day. Clove can be used instead of Tea tree essential oil.

Diffusing or inhalationRespiratory infections: 5 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 3 ml of Pine needle essential oil + 2 ml of Thyme essential oil. Pour about 10 drops of this mix in an inhaler. Breathe for 10 minutes, once or twice a day for 3 days.

Rubbing or massagingCutaneous mycosis: 1.5 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 1.5 ml of Lavandin + 1.5 ml of Geranium essential oil + 100 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Applly a few drops of this mix 3 times a day.

ingestionDigestive tract mycosis: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Cinnamon + Laurel. 2 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Absorb 2 drops of this mix 3 times a day for 20 days.

Rubbing or massagingWhitlow: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Laurel essential oil + Rosewood essential oil + Clove. Mix 1 ml of each of these. Apply a few drops locally up to 4 times a day

Rubbing or massagingDandruff: 1 ml Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 50 ml of Jojoba vegetable oil or Apricot kernel. Massage the scalp and let it sit for 1 hour. Wash your hair with a soft shampoo.

Rubbing or massagingWounds: 1 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 2 ml of Lavandin. Apply directly 1 or 2 drops of this mix up to 3 times a day.

Rubbing or massagingHeadlice and nits: 5 ml of Tea tree essential oil (organic) + 5 ml of Lavender essential oil + 1 ml of Clove essential oil + 1 ml of Ylang-Ylang + 250 ml of a neutral shampoo. Rub the scalp every morning with this mix until complete removal of the lice and nits.

Rubbing or massagingProstatitis: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Cypress + Clove. 5 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Massage the lower abdomen and the back up to twice a day with 4 or 5 drops of this mix.

Rubbing or massagingPsoriasis : Tea tree + Lavender essential oil + Rosemary essential oil + bergamot. 12 drops of each in 100 ml of rosehip vegetable oil. Apply a few drops locally up to 2 times a day.

Rubbing or massagingSeborrhea: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Palmarosa essential oil + Cedar. 3 drops of each in a shampoo or shower gel.

Rubbing or massagingSinusitis-Cold: Tea tree (2 ml) + Peppermint (0.5 ml) + Saro (2 ml) + Inula (0.5 ml) + Macadamia vegetable oil (complete to make 10 ml total). Apply 4 or 5 drops of this mix on the forehead 6 times a day for 1 to 3 days. Be cautious not to put in contact with the eyes!

Rubbing or massagingParodontosis: Tea tree essential oil (organic) + Laurel essential oil + Clove. 2 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Massage the gums with 2 drops of this mix twice a day for 3 weeks.

Contraindications: Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
