Botanical name: Cananga odorata
Cultivation: Wild (100% pure, 100% natural)
Country of origin: Comores
Main properties: anti-wrinkle, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, revitalizing (glandular system), antispasmodic.
Indications:
Anorexia: 3 ml of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 1 ml of Sage + 4 ml of Bergamot. To dilute in 100 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet using this lotion morning and evening until improvement (do not exceed 3 weeks).
Arythmia: 5 ml of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 10 ml of Lavender essential oil + 10 ml of Sweet marjoram + 50 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus and the soles of the feet morning, noon and evening for 1 week.
Hair loss: 25 drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 50 drops of Rosemary cineol + 25 drops of Juniper + 100 ml of macadamia vegetable oil. Massage the scalp and let it sit for 1 hour before shampooing. See Geranium for another recipe.
Sexual fatigue: Ylang Ylang essential oil + Ginger + Cinnamon. Mix in a bottle 5 ml of each. Take 2 drops of this blend in the evening.
Frigidity: 2 ml of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 1 ml of Sage + 1 ml of Roman Chamomile. To dilute in 10 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus 3 times a day for 2 weeks.
Hypertension: Ylang Ylang essential oil + Sweet marjoram. Massage the solar plexus morning and evening.
Libido (weakness): 4 drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 4 drops of Sandalwood essential oil + 8 drops of Lavender essential oil. To dilute in a solvent before pouring into the bath water. See our soap and neutral bases to make your compositions.
Libido (weakness) 2nd recipe: Ylang Ylang essential oil + Rose. 2 ml of each to dilute in 100 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Apply a few drops of this blend on the solar plexus and the soles of the feet 2 times a day for 1 week.
Palpitations: Ylang Ylang essential oil + SweetSweet marjoram. 5 ml of each to dilute in 25 ml of jojoba (or macadamia or apricot kernel) vegetable oil. Massage the solar plexus up to 5 times a day for 2 weeks
Skin parasites: Ylang Ylang essential oil + Thyme essential oil + Clove. 2 ml of each to dilute in 10 ml of Argan vegetable oil. Apply to the concerned areas 2 times a days for 3 weeks.
Dry skin: 0.2 ml of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 0.5 ml of Carrot + 0.2 ml of Geranium. To dilute in 30 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Apply 2 times a day.
Head louse: 1 ml of Ylang-Ylang + 5 ml of Lavender essential oil + 5 ml of Tea tree + 1 ml of Clove essential oil + 250 ml of a neutral shampoo (See our soap and neutral bases to make your compositions). Rub the scalp every morning using this blend until lice and eggs are gone.
Brown spots (age spots): Ylang Ylang (1 ml) + Carrot (1 ml) + 5 ml of rosehip vegetable oil. Apply 2 times a days a few drops of this blend until improvement. Ylang Ylang can be replaced by Geranium or Seville orange.
Body tonic: 1 ml of Ylang Ylang essential oil + 1.5 ml of Rosemary essential oil + 1.5 ml of Geranium essential oil + 80 ml of macadamia or jojoba vegetable oil. Massage morning and evening.
Contraindications: Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women. Potentially irritating to the skin if used pure.
