Botanical name: Thymeus Vulgaris L. thujanoliferum

Main properties: Powerful disinfectant (bacterial and viral), immunostimulant, hepatocytary stimulant, warming (activates the blood circulation) neurotonic, equilibrating (rachidian bulb, cerebellum) hormon-like, antidiabetic.
The Thyme thujanol essential oil is non agressive and can be used externally as well as internally. It is remarkably active and always well tolerated. Also gifted with a very pleasant scent, it deserves a place of choice in the family aromatherapy.
Indications:
Angina: As soon as the very first signs appear, 2 drops of Thyme thujanol on a 1/4 of a sugar lump or a teaspoon of honey to take 3 to 4 times per 24 hours.
Cold sore: Thyme thujanol essential oil + Niaouli essential oil + Ravensara. 5 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Apply 1 drop of this blend locally 6-8 times a day for 2 days.
Cirrhosis: 2 ml of Thyme thujanol essential oil + 1 ml of Peppermint essential oil + 1 ml of Clove essential oil + 2 ml of Ledon to mix in a bottle. Take 2 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey or olive oil 3 times a day (at mealtime) for 3 weeks. Stop 1 week then resume this treatment.
Viral hepatitis, toxaemic: 2 ml of Thyme thujanol essential oil + 3 ml of Ravensara essential oil + 1 ml of Basil + 3 ml of Ledon to mix in a bottle. Take 3 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey or olive oil 3 times a day (before meals) and 6 drops of this blend to apply on the liver area.
Severe bacterial or viral infection: 2 ml of Thyme thujanol + 1 ml of Cinnamon of China + 2 ml of Summer savory to mix in a bottle. Take 3 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey or olive oil 3 times a day (before meals) for 7 to 10 days.
Liver (congestion): Thyme thujanol essential oil + Wintergreen + Ledon. 2 ml of each to mix in a bottle. Take 2 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey 2 times a day for 3 weeks.
Gingivitis: Thyme thujanol essential oil + Laurel. 5 ml of each to dilute in 10 ml of olive oil or macadamia vegetable oil. Apply a few drops locally of this blend up to 6 times a day if necessary.
Otitis media (severe) (adults only): 3 ml of Thyme thujanol + 3 ml of Thyme linalol to mix in a bottle. Take 2 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey before meals (on an empty stomach) 3 times a day for 4 to 7 days.
Laryngitis: 3 ml of Thyme thujanol essential oil + 2 ml of Rosewood essential oil + 2 ml of Niaouli to mix in a bottle. Take 3 drops of this blend on a spoon of honey 4 times a day between meals for 5 days.
Sinusitis: As soon as the first signs of nasal or sinus infection appear, apply a few drops of Thyme thujanol on the area of the scalp located vertically from the back of the nasal cavity and breathe a few drops on a handkerchief. Non-irritating to the skin Thyme thujanol can also be applied directly to the skin area above the nasal cavity.
Contraindications: Not to be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
