Description
Create your own 100% natural fragrance! With this recipe, you can create an eau parfumante that reflects your personality and your desires. You can follow our "Sweet Fragrance" recipe example, or replace the essential oils with those of your choice, depending on the season or your needs. It's up to you to give free rein to your olfactory creativity!
Ingredients
For 1 bottle of 30 ml :
- 26 g fragrance base
- 1.6 g (or approx. 70-80 drops) Essential Oil(s)
Sweet Fragrance" example:
- 0.75 g (or 38 drops) organic Cardamom Essential Oil
- 0.45 g (or 23 drops) organic Rosewood essential oil
- 0.3 g (or 15 drops) organic Benzoin Absolute
- 2 g mineral water
Materials
- 1 150-ml beaker
- 1 spatula
- 1 precision balance
- 1 30 ml brown glass bottle with spray pump
Preparation
-
Mix ingredients: Weigh the fragrance base with the essential oils and mix thoroughly.
-
Add water: Gently add the mineral water to the previous mixture, then mix again.
-
Rest: Leave the mixture to rest for a week at room temperature in a closed bottle. This will allow the aromas to develop fully.
-
Filtration: Filter the mixture through a coffee filter. This "precipitation/filtration" step eliminates the deposits common in perfume products.
-
Packaging: Package your product in the 30 ml brown glass bottle with spray pump.
Directions for use
To avoid any interaction between essential oils and the sun, it is preferable to spray Eau Parfumante on your hair. Some essential oils may be photo-sensitizing. For more information on the properties and contraindications of essential oils, visit our website under "Essential Oils".
Storage
Eau Parfumante can be kept for at least 3 months.
