Exfoliating Face Gel
Description
This cleansing and exfoliating gel with prickly pear seed powder effectively removes residues and dead skin cells. Enriched with Cedarwood and Petit Grain Bigaradier essential oils, this product reinforces the purifying action for fresh, revitalized skin.
Ingredients per 100 g
Phase 1:
- 67 g mineral water
- 10 g organic geranium bourbon hydrolate
- 2 g Vegetable glycerin
- 1 g Xanthan Gum
Phase 2:
- 5 g Sodium Coco
Phase 3:
- 10 g Vegetable Foam
- 10 drops Cedar essential oil (organic)
- 20 drops Petitgrain Bigaradier essential oil (organic)
Phase 4:
- 3 g Prickly pear seed powder
Phase 5:
- 0.2 g Citric acid
Phase 6:
- 32 g Geogard
Preparation:
Phase 1:
In a beaker, mix the water, hydrosol and glycerine. Sprinkle in Xanthan gum while mixing to obtain a thick, transparent gel.
Phase 2:
Add Sodium Coco and heat the mixture in a bain-marie at 40°C until completely dissolved.
Phase 3:
Add ingredients from phase 3 while continuing to mix.
Phase 4:
Add the prickly pear powder and mix well.
Measure pH:
pH should be above 9. Gradually add citric acid until pH is between 5 and 7.
Phase 6:
Add Geogard and mix thoroughly.
Packaging:
Pour the mixture into a clean bottle.
Appearance:
Thick, transparent gel with bubbles and brown grains.
Odor:
Woody and green.
Shelf life:
1 month, at temperatures above 10°C.
Directions for use:
Apply a dab of product to damp face. Massage gently, paying particular attention to the T-zone, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with your day cream.
