Nourishing Face Cream Avocado & Shea

Description

This nourishing face cream is specially designed for dry, sensitive skin. With its 100% natural ingredients, it revitalizes and restores radiance to your skin. Cornflower hydrolate soothes irritation, avocado oil provides deep hydration, and shea butter offers regenerating and protective properties. Delicately scented with Rosewood and Palmarosa essential oils, this cream will bring you all the comfort your skin needs on a daily basis.

Ingredients for a 50 ml jar

Phase 1:

• 23 g mineral water
• 5 g organic cornflower hydrolate
• 1.5 g vegetable glycerin

Phase 2:

• 3 g Xyliance Emulsifier
• 5 g Coconut Oil
• 6 g Coco Silicone
• 3.5 g Organic Avocado Oil
• 2 g Shea Butter

Phase 3:

• 4 drops Vitamin E
• 16 drops Geogard
• 6 drops organic Rosewood essential oil
• 4 drops organic Palmarosa essential oil

Preparation

1. Phase 1: In a beaker, weigh out the mineral water, organic cornflower hydrosol and vegetable glycerin. Mix with a spatula.

2. Phase 2: In another beaker, weigh out the ingredients (Xyliance emulsifier, coconut oil, Coco Silicone, avocado oil and shea butter).

3. Heat the two beakers separately in a bain-marie until they reach around 75°C. It is essential that both phases are at the same temperature for a successful emulsion.

4. Remove the beakers from the water bath and slowly pour phase 1 into phase 2, while mixing with an emulsifying mixer for at least 2 minutes. The mixture will whiten and increase in viscosity.

5. Pour the mixture into a stainless steel bowl and continue stirring with a hand whisk.

6. Place the bowl in a bain-marie of cold water to cool the cream while continuing to stir.

7. Phase 3: Add the ingredients for this phase (Vitamin E, Geogard, essential oils) one by one, mixing well between each addition with a spatula.

8. Check that the pH is between 5 and 7 using pH test strips.

9. Package your cream in a jar.

Appearance :

• Very pale yellow-green cream.

Odor:

• Sweet and woody.

Shelf life :

1 month (store away from heat and humidity. If you notice any change in appearance or smell, discontinue use).

Directions for use :

Apply a dab of cream to the face, massaging gently until absorbed. Use daily for a radiant complexion and optimal comfort.
Caution: some essential oils may be photosensitizing: avoid exposure to the sun after application.
