Hand & Nail Comfort Cream
Description
Crème Confort Mains & Ongles, enriched with nourishing oils, quickly restores softness to your hands. Coconut oil, combined with Ricin and Inca Inchi oils, has repairing properties, ideal for even the driest skin. Lemon essential oil strengthens and stimulates nail growth, while adding a pleasant, fruity fragrance.
Ingredients
-
Phase 1 (Aqueous):
- 70 g water
- 2 g Glycerin
-
Phase 2 (Oily):
- 10 g Coconut oil
- 15 g Castor oil
- 10 g Inca Inchi oil
- 5 g Beeswax
-
Phase 3 (Active ingredients):
- 5 g Lemon essential oil
- 1 g Preservative (as recommended)
- Citric acid (if necessary to adjust pH)
Preparation:
-
Phase 1:
In a beaker, weigh and mix the ingredients of phase 1 (aqueous). Place in a water bath at 65°C. -
Phase 2:
In another beaker, weigh and mix the ingredients for phase 2 (oily) and place in a water bath at 65°C. -
Mixing the phases:
When all solid ingredients have melted and both phases are at the same temperature, remove from the water bath. Pour phase 1 into phase 2 while mixing with an emulsifying mixer. The emulsion should form like milk. -
Cooling:
Transfer the mixture to a stainless steel bowl placed over a bath of cold water. Whisk gently to avoid incorporating air, until the cream takes on its consistency. -
Phase 3:
Add the ingredients for phase 3 one by one, mixing between each addition with a whisk. Check that the pH is between 5 and 7. If the pH is higher than 7, add a little citric acid to adjust it. -
Packaging:
Put the cream in a jar.
Appearance
- Texture: Creamy, smooth.
- Odor: Lemony and coconut.
Directions for use :
Apply generously to hands and massage in. Use as often as necessary to keep hands soft and moisturized.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Shelf life: 1 month. If you notice any change in appearance or smell, discontinue use.
