Smoothing Hand Cream

Description

This 100% natural unifying treatment cream will help prevent and reduce the signs of aging on your hands. Karanja and Nigella oils, combined with a complex of essential oils of carrot, geranium and ylang ylang, work in synergy to protect and nourish your hands, while smoothing and unifying them day after day.

Ingredients for 50 g of cream

Phase 1

• 27 g mineral water
• 2.5 g organic cornflower hydrolate
• 1 g vegetable glycerin

Phase 2

• 7 g Coconut Oil
• 4.5 g Xyliance Emulsifier
• 3 g organic Karanja Oil
• 2.5 g organic Nigella Oil

Phase 3

• 0.1 g Vitamin E
• 0.2 g Geogard
• 0.2 g geranium bourbon essential oil (organic)
• 0.2 g carrot essential oil
• 0.2 g complete ylang ylang essential oil (organic)

Preparation

Phase 1

1. In a beaker, add mineral water, hydrosol and vegetable glycerin. Mix with a spatula.

Phase 2

1. In another beaker, weigh out the ingredients for phase 2.

Heating steps

1. Heat the two beakers separately in a bain-marie to around 70°C. It's important that both phases are at the same temperature before proceeding.

Emulsion

1. Once both phases have reached temperature, remove the beakers from the water bath.
2. Slowly pour phase 1 into the beaker containing phase 2 while mixing with the emulsifying beater for at least 2 minutes. The mixture should whiten and thicken.
3. Pour the mixture into a stainless steel bowl and continue stirring with a hand whisk.
4. Place the bowl in a bain-marie of cold water to allow the cream to cool and set. Continue whisking.

Phase 3

1. Add the ingredients for this phase (vitamin E, Geogard and essential oils) one by one, mixing well between each addition with a spatula.

Packaging

1. Package your product in a suitable jar.

Appearance

• Texture: Thick cream
• Color: Ivory
• Odor: Earthy floral fragrance

Directions for use

Take a dab of cream with a mini-spatula and apply to hands, paying particular attention to pigmentation spots. Reapply as often as necessary.

Storage

Keep your cream for 1 month. If you notice any change in appearance or smell, discontinue use.
