Soothing Face Cream - Sensitive Skin

Description

This fluid face cream is specially formulated for dry, sensitive skin. Rich in Aloe Vera and Hemp oil, it moisturizes the skin while providing a soothing effect. The benefits of Coconut oil and Kokum butter also provide essential nutrition for the skin, making this cream ideal for daily use.

Ingredients for 50 g of cream

Phase 1:

  • 28.3 g Mineral water
  • 0.25 g Xanthan Gum

Phase 2:

  • 10 g organic Aloe Vera Gel

Phase 3:

  • 2.5 g Xyliance Emulsifier
  • 1.75 g Coconut Oil
  • 1.5 g Coco Silicone
  • 1.75 g Kokum Butter
  • 3 g organic Hemp Oil

Phase 4:

  • 4 drops Vitamin E
  • 10 drops Geogard
  • 9 drops of organic Benzoin Absolute
  • 8 drops Chamomile Matricaria essential oil (organic)

Preparation

  1. Weigh the mineral water in a beaker. In a bowl, weigh out the Xanthan gum and sprinkle into the water, stirring with a mixer. A gel should form; make sure all the gum is dissolved.

  2. Add phase 2 (Aloe Vera gel) to phase 1 and mix with a spatula.

  3. In another beaker, weigh out the ingredients for phase 3.

  4. Heat both beakers in a bain-marie to around 70°C.

  5. When both phases have reached the same temperature, remove from the water bath and slowly pour phase 3 into the beaker containing the mixture of phases 1 and 2. Mix with a mixer for at least 2 minutes.

  6. Stir for 2 minutes until the mixture whitens and becomes viscous. Transfer to a stainless steel bowl and continue mixing with a hand whisk.

  7. Place the bowl in a bain-marie of cold water to cool the cream while continuing to whisk.

  8. Add phase 4 ingredients one by one, mixing well between each addition.

  9. Check pH (must be between 5 and 7) and package your product.
