Tea Tree & Palmarosa Deodorant


Description

Easily make your own 100% natural deodorant stick with this fresh, minty-scented recipe! Combining the benefits of Palmarosa essential oil and Tea Tree, this deodorant eliminates unpleasant odors while respecting your skin.


Ingredient Benefits

  • Sodium bicarbonate: Absorbs perspiration and eliminates odors.
  • Maïzena: Anti-odour, deodorant and skin barrier protector.
  • Palmarosa essential oil: moderates perspiration and inhibits the bacterial growth that causes unpleasant odors.
  • Tea Tree essential oil: Anti-bacterial and purifying.

Ingredients

Phase 1:

  • 32.6 g organic raw Cocoa Butter
  • 37.5 g Coco Silicone
  • 26.25 g Candelilla Wax

Phase 2:

  • 5.6 g Sodium Bicarbonate
  • 9.8 g Maizena

Phase 3 :

  • 30 drops Palmarosa essential oil (organic)
  • 15 drops Peppermint essential oil (organic)
  • 15 drops Tea Tree essential oil (organic)
  • 15 drops Vitamin E

Preparation

  1. Phase 1:

    • In a beaker, weigh out phase 1 and melt at 75°C. Check that the Candelilla wax has melted.
  2. Phase 2:

    • In a second beaker, weigh out phase 2 and add it to the beaker containing phase 1, still on the water bath. Mix with a spatula to disperse the powders well.
  3. Mixing:

    • Remove the beaker from the water bath. At 65°C, add phase 3 and mix with a spatula.
  4. Moulding:

    • Pour the preparation into the stick at 60°C.
  5. Solidification:

    • Place in the fridge for 2 hours to solidify.

Appearance

  • Texture: Pinkish-beige stick
  • Odor: Fresh and minty

Directions for use

Apply deodorant to underarms as needed.


Storage

Store your deodorant in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: at least 3 months.
