Verbena-Cardamom Body Mousse

Ingredients for 100 g of cream


Phase 1:

  • 72 g mineral water
  • 10 g organic orange blossom hydrolate
  • 2 g vegetable glycerin

Phase 2:

  • 5 g BTMS emulsifier
  • 5 g organic coconut oil
  • 5 g organic apricot kernel oil

Phase 3:

  • 8 drops vitamin E
  • 40 drops Geogard
  • 10 drops organic lemon litsea essential oil
  • 24 drops organic cardamom essential oil

Preparation


  1. Weigh out phase 1 in a beaker and mix with a spatula.

  2. Weigh out phase 2 in a second beaker.

  3. Heat the two beakers separately in a bain-marie to around 75°C.

  4. When both beakers have reached the same temperature, remove from the water bath. Slowly pour phase 1 into the beaker containing phase 2, respecting the order of introduction, while stirring constantly with the paddle attachment for a minimum of 2 minutes.

  5. The mixture is very fluid; pour it into a stainless steel bowl and continue stirring with the mixer for at least a further 2 minutes.

  6. Place the bowl in a bain-marie of cold water to cool the cream. Continue stirring with the whisk attachment.

  7. Add phase 3 ingredients one by one, mixing well between each addition with a spatula.

  8. Check pH with test strips.

  9. Package your product.

Apply daily to face, massaging to penetrate.
