Cedar essential oil, extracted from Cedrus atlantica, is appreciated for its woody, comforting fragrance, as well as for its therapeutic benefits. Native to the Atlas regions of Morocco and Algeria, it is obtained by steam distillation of the tree's wood, preserving active compounds such as sesquiterpenes and atlantones. Its deep aroma creates a soothing, earthy olfactory experience. In aromatherapy, Cedar oil is renowned for its calming properties, helping to reduce stress and anxiety while promoting relaxation.
