Composed of gentle foaming agents of plant origin, this shampoo adapts perfectly to your hair's needs thanks to its customization with essential oils. Your hair will be gently cleansed, while remaining light, silky and naturally shiny. Easy to prepare, this basic formula can be enriched with the essential oils of your choice, selected according to your hair type and its specific needs, whether to combat oily, dry or damaged hair.
Ingredients for 100 ml shampoo
- Phase 1
- 67 g Mineral water
- 8 g Inulin
- Phase 2
- 2 g Vegetable Glycerin
- Phase 3
- 1 g Xanthan Gum
- Phase 4
- 5 g Sodium Coco
- Phase 5
- 15 g Vegetable Mousse
- 1 g or 40 drops of essential oils* (according to your needs)
- Phase 6
- 0.3 g Citric acid
- 1 g Geogard (natural preservative)
Preparation
- Phase 1: Weigh the mineral water in a beaker. In a separate dish, weigh out the inulin and sprinkle it into the water, stirring with an emulsifying mixer to dissolve.
- Phase 2: Add the vegetable glycerin and mix with a spatula.
- Phase 3: Weigh out the xanthan gum in a bowl and sprinkle it into the beaker, stirring with an emulsifying mixer until completely solubilized.
- Phase 4: Put on a mask and add the Sodium Coco to the mixture. Heat in a bain-marie to 40°C. Mix with a spatula or emulsifying beater until the Sodium Coco has melted. Leave to cool to room temperature.
- Phase 5: In another beaker, weigh out the vegetable foam and add the essential oils of your choice. Mix with a spatula, then add this mixture to the previous phase (phases 1 to 4). Mix well with a spatula.
- Phase 6: Check the pH (around 11 due to the vegetable foam) and gradually add citric acid (0.3-0.4 g) to adjust the pH to between 5 and 7. The mixture will become transparent.
- Add Geogard preservative and mix with a spatula.
- Leave the shampoo to settle for about 1 hour, then dispense into a clean pump bottle.
