Storage

Store away from light and heat, in a cool place. Shelf life: 12 to 24 months.

Use

This neutral soap base is very easy to use. Here are the steps

1. Melt the base in a bain-marie at 70-75°C.
2. Add the ingredients of your choice: essential oils, colorants, clays, exfoliating particles, etc.
3. Pour mixture into molds.
4. Leave to cool and solidify for at least 24 hours. For faster solidification, place in the fridge.
5. Once solidified, unmold and leave to dry.

You can use your soaps as soon as they have solidified. Note that the addition of certain oils or essential oils can reduce the soap's lathering power. The higher the addition, the lower the lathering effect.

Complementary ingredients & dosages

Mineral colorants / Clays :

For natural coloring and remineralizing properties:

• White Clay: Fragile, reactive skin
• Green Clay: Combination and oily skin
• Yellow Clay: sensitive combination and oily skin
• Pink Clay: dull, tired skin
• Red Clay: dry skin

Recommended percentages: 0.5-2%. Mix clays with vegetable oil for better solubilization before adding to Melt & Pour base.

Moisturizing active ingredients :

• Vegetable glycerin
• Vegetable Squalane
• Honey

Recommended percentages: 1-5

Essential Oils :

Recommended percentages: 1-5%. Choose the right essential oils for your skin type:

• Devitalized skin: Rosewood, Carrot, Cistus, Geranium, Helichrysum, Lavender, Palmarosa, Rose, Sandalwood
• Acne-prone skin: German chamomile, Cedar, Petit Grain Bigaradier, Rosemary Verbenone, Tea tree
• Combination and oily skin: Cypress, Lavender, Petit Grain Bigaradier, Rosemary Verbenone
• Dry skin: Rosewood, Carrot, Rose, Myrtle, Neroli, Palmarosa
• Sensitive and fragile skin: German chamomile, Rosewood, Neroli, Rose

Plant Oils and Butters :

• Damaged skin : Argan, Avocado, Borage, Wheat Germ, Evening Primrose, Rose Hip, Shea Butter
• Acne-prone skin: Jojoba, Calophylla, Nigella
• Combination and oily skin: Jojoba, Hazelnut, Grapeseed
• Dry skin: Sweet almond, Argan, Avocado, Borage
• Sensitive skin: Avocado, Jojoba, Macadamia, Hazelnut

Recommended percentages: 1-15

Preservative / Vitamin E :

Incorporate 0.4% preservative or vitamin E to protect vegetable oils from oxidation.

Exfoliating agents :

Incorporate exfoliating ingredients such as salt, sugar, seeds or flower powders:

• Light particles: 1-2
• Heavier particles: 1-10%
