Intense Moisturizing Face Cream
Description
This intensely moisturizing face cream is specially formulated for dry to very dry skin. Thanks to its urea and moisturizing active ingredients, it restores the cutaneous barrier while deeply nourishing the skin. The presence of glycerine and plant oils in the formulation helps maintain an optimal level of hydration throughout the day. Fragrance-free and free from essential oils, it is ideal for sensitive skin.
Ingredients for a 50 ml jar:
Phase 1:
- 27 g mineral water
- 8 g vegetable glycerin
Phase 2:
- 5 g urea
- 5 g sweet almond oil
- 3 g jojoba oil
- 3 g Xyliance emulsifier
Phase 3:
- 0.5 g vitamin E
- 0.3 g Geogard preservative
Preparation:

Phase 1:
Weigh and mix mineral water and glycerine in a beaker. Heat in a bain-marie to around 70°C. -
Phase 2:
Weigh urea, vegetable oils (sweet almond, jojoba) and Xyliance emulsifier in another beaker. Heat over a bain-marie until the emulsifier has completely melted and the oil phase has reached around 70°C. -
Mixing the phases:
When both phases have reached the same temperature, slowly pour the water phase into the oil phase, while stirring with an emulsifying mixer. Mix vigorously for 2 minutes. -
Phase 3:
Once the emulsion has set and the mixture has cooled slightly, add the vitamin E and Geogard preservative. Blend gently. -
Finishing:
Transfer the cream into a clean, sterilized jar. Allow to cool to room temperature before closing the jar.
Appearance: Creamy, white
Odor: Discreet, no added fragrance
Shelf life: 1 month, protected from heat and light.
Directions for use:
Apply daily to clean, dry skin. Massage in gently for optimum absorption. Ideal for intense, long-lasting hydration.
