Post-depilatory Soothing Balm
Description
SOS for skin irritated by waxing! This cocoa vanilla balm melts on contact with the skin, leaving it soft and silky. Cocoa butter and coconut shea butter protect and soothe the skin. Hazelnut oil and calendula macerate also add a soothing touch, while Geranium essential oil confers antibacterial properties, purifying the skin and preventing the formation of pimples.
Ingredients for 1 jar :
- 18 g Shea Butter & Coconut Oil
- 10 g organic Cocoa Butter
- 12 g organic Hazelnut Oil
- 6 g organic Calendula Macerate
- 2 g organic Beeswax
- 4 drops Vitamin E
- 20 drops organic Vanilla Oleoresin
- 7 drops organic Geranium Bourbon essential oil
Preparation
- Melt the ingredients: In a bain-marie, melt the shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, hazelnut oil and calendula macerate at a temperature of 60-70°C.
- Add Actives: Remove from heat, add vitamin E, vanilla oleoresin and Geranium essential oils, then mix gently.
- Pour and solidify: Pour the mixture into the jar at a temperature of approx. 50°C. Let the mixture begin to solidify before placing in the fridge.
Directions for use
Take the balm out of the fridge about 1 hour before use to obtain a melting texture. Apply after each depilation (avoiding contact with mucous membranes due to essential oils), massaging in a circular motion to ensure penetration.
Storage
Keep the balm refrigerated for at least 3 months to ensure better preservation of the ingredients.
