Essential oils against viral infections: A natural approach
Viral infections, caused by a variety of viruses, can lead to a wide range of illnesses, including colds, angina, flu and more serious conditions such as smallpox, hepatitis B and COVID-19. These viral diseases are often transmitted by saliva, touch or sexual intercourse, and can spread rapidly in epidemics.
To support our bodies in the face of these infections, essential oils offer an interesting natural alternative. Unlike conventional medicines, which generally use one or two synthetic molecules, essential oils are complex extracts containing hundreds of active molecules. Used for thousands of years, these oils come from plants and have remarkable antiviral properties.
In addition to their antiviral actions, many essential oils also have antibacterial properties, enabling them to act on a broad spectrum of infections. In this way, they can boost the immune system and help fight viruses more effectively.
