Thyme CT thymol essential oil
Thyme CT essential oil is renowned for its antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties (the thymol itself is about 40% active). A variant of this essential oil is red thyme essential oil, which originates in Spain. It is therefore often cited in cases of skin parasites (against which it is particularly effective). Thyme CT thujanol essential oil
Thyme thujanol essential oil. This essential oil, naturally rich in thujanol (between 20 and 45% depending on origin), is reputed to be bactericidal, a powerful viricide, immunostimulant, hepatocyte stimulant, warming (through action on circulation), neurotonic, balancing (of medulla oblongata and cerebellum), hormone-like and antidiabetic. Thyme CT linalol essential oil
Thyme linalol essential oil (65 to 85%) has properties similar to those of thymol. It is a powerful general antiseptic, anti-infective (antiviral and antibacterial) and antifungal. Linalool thyme essential oil has additional properties: it is recognized as a vermifuge, tonic, neurotonic, uterotonic and aphrodisiac. Generally priced between the first two thyme essential oils, it is best used diluted. Its fragrance is sweeter and more flowery than the other two essential oils. CT geraniol thyme essential oil
Geraniol thyme essential oil (11 to 26% and geranyl acetate between 14 and 40%) has properties similar to geranium (Pelargonium asperum) or palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) essential oils. In addition to its anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties, geraniol thyme essential oil is a fluidifier and expectorant. It is also a uterotonic, neurotonic and cardiotonic.
